FUSE (13-18s)
Teenage years are significant. As our young people head towards independence, we pray they grow in following Jesus, becoming full members of church and confident to live as witnesses in the world.
We have been planning for a relaunch September 2024:
We want our Sunday services to be accessible and applicable for teenagers.
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, at the 10:30am, there will be a FUSE group with teaching at their level.
We will encourage our teenagers to serve on rotas as members of the Church family: welcoming, refreshments, Bible readings, music/tech, children’s groups.
- This could be alongside parents, or as a way of getting to know other members of the church family
- On the 2nd Sunday at the 10:30am, we will aim to get young people involved in the music/tech, but they are welcome to be involved on any Sunday. Similarly with helping children’s groups on the 4th Sunday (Creche 0-3s, Scramblers 3-5s, Adventurers 5-8s).
- As they grow in faith and develop their gifts there will be opportunities to take a lead in children’s groups, music, in services, etc.
We will keep running FUSE on Friday nights as an opportunity for them to spend time with friends in a Church context, having fun and discovering more about Jesus. See more here.
We will have youth-focussed services once a term on Sunday evenings.
Sign up to the FUSE group to keep up-to-date with the latest news.
